Gina, I am so very sorry for your loss. My husband died suddenly when I was 37 and he was 43. It was devastating. I am sure you have friends and family to support you, but I am available if you ever need an ear via email – sometimes it helps to talk to someone who has experienced something similar. From my own experience I know that you are still in a state of shock now. It will take a long time for that shock to go away and you will undergo a world of other feelings. My best advice is to understand that God has a plan just for you and your children…it may not be “your” plan but he will take care of you all. I’m so so so sorry for your loss. I’ll keep you and your children in my prayers. My Father died very unexpectedly in March and I am still working through all my emotions (I also managed his estate). I’d been warned to expect health issues for myself, and sure enough I did have scary bloodpressure/heart attack symptoms requiring hospitalization. I am fine now. Stress is real but The Lord will heal and carry you through to comfort and peace. Pamper yourself and your children and allow others to do for you.

So very sorry for your loss. All the comments from others are intended for you and your family, but it is so beautiful to read them and know that so many people whom you have never met are thinking of you and praying for you. At times life can be so sad, but also so wonderful to know you are not alone. I was going to say “may God bless you”, but He already is.
